Desperately seeking any information on the name KEIVER or variants thereof who were (apparently) associated to a sugar plantation in Jamaica. This is the story that has been handed down to me and I have no reason to doubt it's validity. My Great Grandfather gives his birth year as 1860 and place of birth Jamaica. He apparently changed his name to HENRY/HARRY HUNT to be more "acceptable".

He came from slave stock.

If anyone can help me pursue this line of enquiry, I will be forever grateful as I have been researching this line for so long and have made very little progress.

Kind regards.
