CHADERTON - Barbados

Reverend William CHADERTON was a minister of religion, took his wife Mary Rachel and two daughters (one named Eliza Antoinette b.16mar1816) to his Antigua ministry parish.

He took his two daughters to Tortola, where his wife died in 1821, and subsequently left for the USA 7may1823 to live with relations. On 25aug1727 he resided in Bristol, Co. Bucks, and in 1835 was in charge of Christ Church in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1836 he was at St. John's, Northampton, Mass. and was subsequently appointed Curate-in-charge St. Peter's Chapel, St. Charles, Quebec.

He died of typhus fever in St. Charles, Quebec on 15jul1847 while ministering to infected Irish emigrants disembarking ships.

LYNCH connection:

Reverend William CHADERTON was the son of John CHADERTON and Antonetta CHADERTON nee LYNCH (Antonetta b10dec1752, d.1811, daughter of Dominick and Elizabeth LYNCH of Barbados), Reverend William CHADERTON's brother was John Bishop CHADERTON.

CHADERTON - Montreal, PQ

Hello

I think a Mr Chaderton of Barbados was married to a Mary Judith Kin the late 1880s, they had three sons Leon, Clement and ?

I wonder f there is a connection

The latest I have in the Chaderton line is Dominic Lynch Chaderton b.ca.1800 in Barbados, married to Louisa Watson on 10 Feb 1825 in Christ Church, Barbados.

Maybe some more records have surfaced in familysearch since I last looked, I will have to give that some of my time.
