My Great Grandfather gave his date of birth as 1860 and place of birth as Jamaica in the 1901 UK census. This validates one of the stories handed down to me. He apparently changed his name to HENRY/HARRY HUNT to be more "acceptable".

I am now desperately seeking any information on the name KEIVER or variants thereof who were (apparently) associated to a sugar plantation in Jamaica. He came from slave stock.

If anyone can help me pursue this line of enquiry, I will be forever grateful as I have been researching this line for so long and have made very little progress.

Kind regards.
