My name is Katy. I have found a family link to Charlesworth Ross who was born in Antigua in 1910 and became the commissioner of Montserrat from 1949 to 1956. He was also the British Colonial secretary of the Leeward islands and a civil servant throughout his life. He also wrote a book entitled "from an Antiguans notebook". I know he had a younger brother and sister, Catherine Ross and Edward D Ross (known as Teddie). Their father is called Douglas Foster Ross and their mother is May Johnson Ross nee Charlesworth. It is May who links my family to them. She was my great grandmothers cousin. May went to Antigua as a methodist missionary along with her brother Richard Wilding Charlesworth. I really wood like to see a photograph of Charlesworth Ross as an adult as I have a photo of him and his younger siblings which was sent to my great great grandparents by May.
