BAILEY, RHODEN - Jamaica, Manchester

Postby glyphics » Sat Aug 01, 2015 6:22 pm

My father, Philip Jonathan Bailey, was born in Grove Town, Manchester to George Bailey and Margaret Rhoden (later Reid). He had a younger brother named Spencer. Spencer migrated to the U.S. (New York City) in the mid to late 1920s and my father followed in 1930. My father was closely associated with the Seventh-day Adventist Conference while in Jamaica, teaching at their high school - now a university - in Mandeville and serving as a headmaster of a SDA school in Kingston.

Any information about him and his family would be appreciated.

My father's name was LLOYD RHODEN, I met some of my family on Rhoden side in Maryland.

Also some other Rhodens might be in Pembroke Pines in Miami, that's as much that I know.
