Looking for information on William Franklin, married Dorothy Elizabeth Franklin, originally in Jamaica.

Daughter Elizabeth, born circa 1808, married 4 times to: James Buchanan, Abraham Stewart, Edward Colston, and finally to William Browne in St Michael's Church, Bridgetown, Barbados.

Four marriages from 1824 - John James Buchanan (1 child) Year?, Abraham Stewart (2 children), Edward Colston (2 children), 1844 William Browne, one child William Franklin Browne born 1844

Slave Register of 1812-1834 for Barbados (Former British Colonial Dependencies) records Dorothy Elizabeth Franklin, aged 14, as a mulatto Creole slave as at 12 July 1817, owned by John Fuller Esq. and his wife (recorded as Dorothy's mother?) Margaret Fuller. Must have been relatively successful and inter familia as the Franklins themselves ended up owning slaves as well (unless they are all home grown, so to speak).
