Hello List Mates!

I am seeking information about my great uncle, Edward Crossley, who went to Demerara in 1903 - apparently working with Booker Bros., McConnell at the time.

I have scant information beyond this:

EDWARD1 CROSSLEY, the son of Frederick Dodgson Crossley and Celia Hannah Mingay was born on 20 Mar 18781, 2 in Walthamstow, Essex, England.

Edward made his way to Canada, and it seems was on his own, in 1913, but reported on his ship passage that he was married. The ship he arrived on "Ocara", set sail from Bermuda and docked in Saint John, NB. He then, apparently, travelled by rail to Montreal.

He died on 31 Dec 1917 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada- two of his Mingay cousins attended his funeral.

He married LINDA.

Edward Crossley and Linda had the following child: PHYLLIS CROSSLEY was born about 1908.

I have reason to believe that Linda and Phyllis went to Australia but have no proof.

I would be grateful for any help! Thank you!
