Tip for using Google to search a site...

Postby bimjim » Mon Aug 22, 2011 4:47 pm

If you want to search a specific domain for a name or keyword in Google, here is the format.

Into the search line enter...
site:domain.com keyword "or phrase"

Entering a term such as...
    site:candoo.com "specific domain"

This search will give you all pages which have the two words "specific domain" in the domain (or site) candoo.com.

And the results should show you this page, because it is unlikely these two words occur together anywhere else in the entire site of candoo.com.

This should save you acres of time and energy when looking for a name or place - or combination on a site - instead of having to page through the entire resource.

Enjoy... and good luck!
