My Father was called Eugene Sydney Charles Valentine and was born in 1916 and died 1981. He was born in St Andrews Kingston to Andrew Morrison Valentine and Evangiline Tyson. He had a cousin called DR Edward John Valentine who has died also. The family names seem to be Tyson and Levy. My name is Diane Valentine and I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 1962. I am looking to trace my fathers side too, anyone Valentine. I lived out in Kingston from 1976 - 1979 and went to campion college. Does anything relate to your family??

Hello Diane, I have a Cornelius TYSON who was the spouse of Mary MEIKLE, (born about 1877). Cornelius owned Lambkin Hill in western St. Mary, was a banana agent in Rio Nuevo and served as a Justice of the peace for the parish (appointed in 1902). Any more info you have on this family would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie Dobie (near Perth, Ontario).
