Charles Henry Cox

I am trying to trace Charles Henry Cox who I beleive was a Governor of Barbados. He lived in the West Indies from 1820's-1850. He was also meant to have been the collector of her majesty's customs in St Lucia. He married Frances who was born in Dominica in 1809.
Any information would be appreciated as I have done several searches on google and I have come up with nothing!

Here's the marriage of his son, April 10, 1860; says Charles Henry is dead but does give the customs collector info:

There's a Samuel Cox who was an acting Governor of Barbados in the 1700s but that's the only Barbados Cox I can find?
