Hi,

I will like to get information about the Johnsons who lived in St. Thomas, in the 1800s and early 1900. They were mostly masons. My great grandfather was a Johnson and he was a mason. His name was John Henry Johnson.

Thanks in advance for all information

I am also searching for information on a John Henry Johnson who was my grandfather. He was born in Tarpon Bay, July of 1880. He came to the US in Nov. of 1911. Please respond if this may be your relative.

I made an error in responding to your post. I am looking for Robert not John.

"He was born in Tarpon Bay, July of 1880. He came to the US in Nov. of 1911."
That does not make sense. If he was BORN in Tarpon Bay he was born in the USA. Tarpon Bay in Sanibel, Florida is not a Caribbean island - and is nowhere near Barbados - and your source records would be from the USA, not from any of the Caribbean countries.

Unless there is a Tarpon Bay in the Caribbean I cannot find on the Net.

Familysearch shows many John Johnsons, and many Henry Johnsons, for an 1880 birth, but no John Henry Johnsons born 1880. But that might just be because the record has not yet neen digitised. I suggest you straighten out your info before you get led astray with information that does not match.
