My grandfather was Charles Hippolyte Richardson and my grandmother was Adriana Gumbs. She lived on the Dutch Side. My grandfather lived in a section called Les Deux Freres in French St, Martin

My great grandmother, Rebecca Reed married Philip Emanuel Gumbs; so I have some relationship to Gumbs as any children born from this union would be my grandfather, Alfred Benjamin's half sibling thus my grand aunt or grand uncle. However, I don't know who may have been born of the Reed/Gumbs marriage. I do know that they were in St. Martin because my grandfather settled there.
