Trying to trace my ancestors back to Colclough's of Tintern Abbey, Wexford, Ireland. I have tracked my Coakley branch back to William Coakley (d:~1768 on Anguilla). I believe William was one of the sons of Edward Coakley, Sr who is recorded on Anguilla in 1716/1717.

There are 3 Coakley's on the 1716 census for Anguilla -- Edward, Sr; his son Edward, Jr; and Thomas Coakley. They had 6, 0, and 9 children, respectively.

My branch of the Coakley tree has no Thomas' for several generations after William so my presumption is that Edward, Sr is the likely parent of William.

I'm looking for additional information on Edward Sr and Thomas, if any is even available. There appear to be at least 2 generations, possibly 3, that provide the link back to England/Ireland

Descendants appear on St Kitts, St Croix, and St John well into the 1800s.

I'd like to know the likely route they followed from Ireland in the 1600s to Anguilla in the early 1700s.
