Joseph, we are definitely on to something. Thing is I always thought of Aunt Carr and Renee Louisa Caines Frances as two separate people, and they very well might be. My husband's brother, Bloyce Browne, was in a long-term relationship with Caroline Caines (Aunt Carr), and they had several children ... I know the names of only three: Clive, Stephanie, and Beaux. Small, small world, indeed. We have three cousins on FB who are Renie Caines grandchildren through one of her sons (I think it's Calvin, but I'm not sure, I'll have to confirm that). Their names are Talia Phipps, Theodore Phipps, and Earline "Renie" Caines Phipps. That's the one who first got my attention, the others came after. Found another cousin, whom I've known for many years now, without knowing that he was a close relative, whose name is Tony Hendrickson. His mother was affectionately known was/is Adela Caines (aka Della Blau - or nurse blau). I don't know if Blau is a real surname or they called her that because of her weight...and the list goes on. I'll patch you in on our site, that way you can have the added benefit of following several Caines trees all at the same time. I finally consented to upgrading from the free program, but I still don't use the quick match, because so many of these names cross over to different family members and transcend generations, so once I confirm someone - beyond any reasonable doubt - I add them to my tree manually. And strangely enough, Louisa Francis (Ma) is tied in to the Yearwood side of my family tree on account of her relationship (I think, but I'm not quite sure) with my grandfather Jeddy Yearwood, so there is still lots of work to be done. As for the family reunion, I think it's a fabulous idea ... we just need a firm jump off point and a firm landing pad. Anyway, my dear, the night is far spent, so I'll talk to you later.
