So sorry for the late reply but I must have been mistaken, I could not find any Hancock, I found some Haddocks but I don't think this is what you are looking for. None of them were named Alexander nor were they born in the year you indicated.

I've gone through the records that are available for Saint-Barthélemy and I haven't found that surname, its possible you may find it on Guadeloupe and I know that Trinidad has a high number of people with that surname but I don't have any access to those records.

This is the side of family I have the least information on.

My grandfather's last name is Xavier and he moved from Dominica around 1950's, I have no idea who his father is and all I know about his mother is that her name was Jane.
