Re: Irish origins in the Caribbean

Hey, I have more than a few ancestors who are descendants from Ireland via the States or the Caribbean. The most interesting story yet is about the Card family that I'm related to. They come from Rhode Island, which to me was random because I didn't think I had family in the States back then. They w...

Hello, I'm searching for the surname Card in Belize in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They lived on the outskirts and may have been between borders with Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras. I've heard that the Card name may be one of the "founding families" in Belize. However, the family I'...

Re: GENTLES - Scotland to Jamaica

Hello,

Do either of you have links to a Gentle in Honduras or Belize perhaps with ancestors in Jamaica? I'm looking for relatives that immigrated through the Caribbean.

MORRISON - Belize

Does anyone have information about the Morrison family in Belize. They came to Punta Gorda around the late 1800's early 1900's. I'm not sure where they came from, but they seem persuaded by the English culture.

Re: ROBINSON - Barbados, Belize (British Honduras)

Hello, I'm also interested in the Robinson family in Belize. My information seems a little different from everyone else's. I have a Maria (Mar-eye-ah) Robinson in my family tree (1880's- 1930's?). Apparently they were from the Yucatan. Perhaps they came from Barbados as well. If can give me any info...
