Re: DE LAPEYROUSE, DE RUFFIER, D'AILLEBOUST - St. Lucia

Fascinating genealogy you researched on the De Lapeyrouse family. Their family crest would seem to imply that they were slave traders. Do you know if they had any associations with the Span family of Bristol? Also in your genealogy you also have: 1788 Rosalie de Malzac, fille de noble Simon de Malza...

Re: AUBERT - St. Vincent around 1745

I am researching along the similar lines as you. You are very well possibly looking for information relating to your Huguenot ancestors as am I. A number of Caribbean islands allegiance changed hands between the French and British (St. Lucia, St. Vincent, St. Kitts also known then as St. Christophe,...

Re: Lookups for St. Barths - Gustavia & Lorient 1808 to 1905

Would you be so kind as to peruse for the surname Malzac or as it is sometimes misspelled: Mulzac? My family's appearence in the Caribbean was a result of the Huguenot Diaspora or as it is known in France as La Refuge. Your finding may lead me to delve deeper to those islands. Thank You.

Re: WELLS, DONAWA, MULZAC - Carriacou

This could be the same family. I'm researching Ada Roseline "Mande" DONAWA, born in Antigua in 1869 and the mother of the late Captain Hugh N. Mulzac who in his autobiography described her of being of pure African decent and the daughter of James DONAWA, a student of Bishop Bree, Anglican Bishop of ...

Re: DELAUSSAC - St Kitts and Westminster London UK

Take a look at the website listed below: http://www.historicbasseterre.com/hsite2.asp?HSID=16 It states: "Warner Park is bordered by Losack Road on its south side, Victoria Road in the west, the Basseterre High School on the northern side and Park Range to the east. Originally it was part of an esta...

Re: ROBINSON - Barbados

My later father in law is Herbert Raymond Robinson and is likely a decendant or related to your grandfather. PM and perhaps we can share what is known and from my wife's family get some additional information on his immigration and life in Belize.

Re: ARRINDEL, ARRENDAL - St. Kitts

Would certainly appreciate the contact information which may aid my research. My Huguenot ancestors did find some of the Dutch possessions (i.e.: St. Maarten, SABA and Aruba) as safe havens. You can PM with the details.

Thanks!
