Ulster2008 Reunion
Download Booking Form Here1958-60 Commission
Shipmates its on, we are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our commission and probably the last time we will formally meet. I am just the "young kid on the block" joining the old gal as a Junior [Boy] Seaman and leaving as an OD [Ordinary Seaman] At 65 years young, I am the young kid, but wait a minute, there is one younger.....John "Pringle" Prince. He was acting "skipper" on Christmas Day and came ashore still in "skippers " uniform and Leading Seaman Fred Bright as the official Captains Driver brought him to our "grippos" for a Chrimbo P**** Up. But as they say that's another story and one which will go down well at our reunion. As I put this page together, I reflect that 48 years ago almost to the day, we had just passed through the Welland Canal on the Great Lakes and were heading for Sarnia. Who would ever think that I would end up living here in Canada?
The dates are set - October 24th - 27th 2008. Location Torquay in Devon, not quite Guzz, but the package offered for ships reunions is unbeatable and unbelievable. Full details below. If you are a 1958-60 Ulster commission shipmate and would like to attend or want further details contact me by clicking HERE. We are consistently searching for our old oppo's and even if you have no wish to attend it would be nice to make contact with you again.
