Date Event April 1984 Advertisement in "Toronto Star" appealing for ex RN, RM's etc. to form an RNA branch in Toronto. May 1984 Founding meeting of SOB RNA - Branch 66 Royal Canadian Legion. Election of temporary officers. Click HERE to see them. May 1984 Visit of H.M.S. Bristol. RNA Tour of ship. Jul 20 1984 Official Commissioning of Branch aboard H.M.C.S. Haida in Toronto. Official message received from Her Majesty the Queen. H.M.Y. Britannia visit postponed, therefore Branch Standard presentation by XO of Royal Yacht (Cdr. "Paddy" McKnight) put on hold Sep 1984 Visit of H.M.Y. Britannia. Branch Standard presented at Maritime Museum by XO of Royal Yacht, Cdr.
