David O'Flynn
Our first Life Member was our Founder and first Hon. Secretary He was honoured for his Outstanding Dedication and Contribution to ensure that the Southern Ontario Branch got off on the right foot.
He also conceived the idea of presenting the Headdress to HMS Brave

It has been many years since that Life Membership was bestowed.

In 2002, three long time members were nominated by the Branch and accepted by RN Headquarters as Life Members of the Southern Ontario Branch.

They are shown below receiving their Life Members Certificates, Pins and Membership Cards from Lt. Cdr. Mark Davies Royal Navy (our newest member and Shipmate)

Norrie Millen
Founding Vice Chairman of the Branch, also served as Editor (several times), Chairman, President, Master-at-Arms and has received "Shipmate of the Year" award twice.

Played the Lieutenant in RNA Southern Ontario's "Up Spirits" Show.

Norrie is also the current President of the Toronto Naval Club and the Webmaster of the Naval Club Website.

David Kemp
Chairman of the Branch, for last twelve (12) years (it is rumoured he might go for 22 - No Pension though!). Has received "Shipmate of the Year" award.

Stage Manager and Technical Director of RNA Southern Ontario's "Up Spirits" Show.

David an ex Submariner MEO has donated a lot of materials, time and technical expertise for the branch

Chris Shellard

Long time Secretary of the Branch, also served for several years as Treasurer and as Vice Chairman and Chairman. Has received "Shipmate of the Year" award.

Sadly, Chris will not be seeking office this year. He says after almost 17 years on the Executive, he would like to attend a meeting as a normal Member.
(Is there such a thing?)
