Most of the simpsons that I know are from st Elizabeth. Jane and Sara were born there in 1853 from Bernard and Priscilla. The girls married then moved to Clarendon.

All the children of Jane and Sara have Williams as a last name. The other Simpsons were in St. Elizabeth.

Can you tell me about the names and approximate birth & date years? We still might be able to piece it together. What is the appearance of the
Simpsons and what do you know of the history?

Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to try and help me :)
My great grandfathers name was Larkland Simpson and I believe he was born in 1902. I know that way back there was a Neddy Simpson who was a slaveowner. My great grandfather had blue eyes and looked like a White man, although he was mixed. He had sisters who had long hair, and also looked White. They live(d) in Clarendon, but I don't know their names.

Jane and Sara weren't twins but they were close in age and they married two Williams brothers and moved to Clarendon. They were born around 1853. They had additional sisters and brothers. Their parents were Bernard and Priscilla.

Keep in mind that ended in the early 1800s. And there was more mixing than there was in the US. The Simpsons were known to be fair with light blue eyes. Bernard and his brothers had land but they weren't slave owners.

Do you know the names of Bernard and Priscilla's other children? How about their grandchildren?

I'll see if I can find the names of the boys who would have been born in the mid-1800s. Do you have the parents of our grandfather Larkland?
