My great grandfather's name was James Benjamin Reddish and was probably born in the 1880's. I don't know if there is any relation with the Samuel Reddish you are referring to. My great grandfather lived in Manchester, Jamaica. It is rumored that his family came from St. Mary. Where they came from before that I don't know.

Yes, I saw this info. James Benjamin Reddish and Ann Swaby had a child named Lewis Swaby in 1897. (This is already contained in my tree.) Still wondering if there is a connection though. Family research is never easy. Thanks for all your insight so far. :D
