DIEFFENTHALLER, Trinidad

Postby mnelson » Wed Jul 05, 2006 7:25 pm

"Diffenthaller" orginally German, perhaps a German soldier in the British invasion of 1797. Joseph Dieffenthaller shows up in 1799 in the "Index of Spanish Protocols". Possibly more than one branch in Trinidad.
Researching ancestors of "Fanovich" originating in Austria (currently Croatia) and "Ollivierra" originating in Portugal
