Hi there,
I am not from the Helwig family. However, as a youngster growing up in Jamaica (Late 1950's) I went to Prep School with a member of the Helwig family.

Regards
Howard

Howard,

Which member of the Helwig family did you go to school with? And what school did you go to? Hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
I went to Robertson's Prep School in St Andrew Jamaica.
One of my classmates was Paula Helwig.

In the attached school picture she is in the front row, and is the fourth person from the left.
I am in the back row (6th from the left). Thus, I am standing right behind her.

The website below although not a genealogy website, has numerous pictures posted by Jamaican families.
You may find a photograph there that is likely to include other members of the Helwig family.

Hope this helps

Howard,

It is truly a small world! Paula is my sister and I have a copy of this picture also. If you look under H at oncetime you will see several pictures of me and my family. Next time I speak to Paula I will mention your name.

Peace,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
this is truly amazing! Our family left Jamaica back in 1968 right after I completed 5th form at Campion College. As a result we have lost touch with many people from our past. I now live in Alberta, Canada. If you look under G (Gallimore)in oncetime you will find a few pictures of my family. Please do give my regards to Paula.

Peace and all the best
Howard

Hi Bruce,
I will have to look them up.

Drop me a Private Message here, I can then give you my regular e-mail address.

P.S. If you have any concerns about me leaving the "Hobbles" picture on this site let me know and I will remove it

Christopher's daughter Harriet Julia Helwig is my GG Grandmother.
I am working on a revised family tree and any updated Helwig / Holle info would be appreciated.
