I am looking for any information regarding CHOLLET in Guyane.
Especially Louis CHOLLET, born in 1753 in Moudon/Switzerland, who was land surveyor in the region of Essequibo and Demerary between 1791 and 1806. He died in Charleston/SC in 1821. He made maps of part of the border between Guyane and Venezuela, e.g. Pomeroon.
He was the cousin of Samuel CHOLLET, born in 1748 in Moudon, who was Commissary General on Barbados in 1806/1807 and died (as Custom Collector) on Trinidad in 1814.
