GRANT - Barbados

Looking for connections to Stanley Grant. He was born around 1902-03 and left Barbados in 1921 working on a boat called "Little Princess" bound for Newfoundland and never again returned to Barbados.

All I know is that he had a twin named Gerald or Gerard and they were born on Good Friday. I believe their mother's name was Agnes.

Stanley died in 1945 at the age of 42 in Newfoundland. I don't know if he had any siblings other than his twin. He listed Waterloo Alley Bridgetown as his address when he registered to work on the boat. I think he may have been a cook on the boat.

Any help anyone can offer is much appreciated

In familysearch.org, here is the Newfoundland Census of 1935...
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QK9Z-CMYZ

and the Newfoundland Death record...
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKQF-8GDL

I do not see a birth record in there for either Stanley or Gerard/Gerald, but there are other GRANTs born the same year - Viola, Everton and Winifred...
https://familysearch.org/search/record/ ... year0=1900

Unfortunately they are all listed in a US Census and there are no parents listed.

Thank you so much!! I had the census info and I have a recent copy of his death certificate but that doesn't contain as much info as the one you posted. I also have the records of when he left Barbados on board a boat called the "Little Princess" in 1921. I just haven't had any luck finding anything regarding his birth in Barbados. Perhaps the only way I will find this is to go to Barbados registry office and search there.
