Hi
This is my first post on this site - please forgive me if I get things a bit wrong.

Thomas GRAY b. 1864 was a policeman in Ireland. I've full details of his career in Ireland. In 1898? he applied for the position of Sgt Major of police in Montserrat - I've no idea whether he got the post, but I haven't found him in Ireland after that time.

Are there any censuses? Lists of policemen etc?
Death notices between 1911 and 1935?

I've no idea what's available, or where to start!

A short update - I now know that Thomas did go to Montserrat -

I found him on a Passenger List:

-- 1899 T A GRAY Southampton to Montserrat.
