Looking for relatives in the Dominican Republic. There was significant migration from the English speaking islands in the eastern Caribbean to the DR to work during the late 1800 thru early 1900's. Many never returned and now there are a lot of English-surnamed Dominicans.

I'm trying to trace family relatives from Antigua and St. Kitts: Surnames - Henry, Hughes, and Maynard :D

I might be able to help you. I'm a descendant of english speaking Dominican family. My family came from St. Croix, St. Kitts and Nevis as well as Montserrat. I'm using this forum to help do some research.
