BRANCH, Barbados and Grenada

Postby Twiglet » Mon Sep 17, 2012 4:16 pm

I am researching the Branch family in the West Indies from the mid-1600s on. I would like to find out who were the first to go, when, why and on which ship. Also why they left, when and where to. Any help or suggestions of how I can source this information would be gratefully recieved.

Hi I remember when I was a child there was a gentleman in Nova Scotia named Lawrence (Larry) Branch, he immigrated to Canada abt: 1917.

Thanks, Cathy.

It's good to know someone is reading the messages on the site!

I'll look up my stuff and see if I can find a Lawrence around that time. Do you have a personal interest or is it an unrelated area?

Regards

Hi twiglet, I`m not related to the Branch family, however, I`m quite interested in all families who immigrated from Barbados to Nova Scotia.
