Andrew Norwood lived on Barbados - baptised two sons, Richard and Benjamin (1667 & 1668) there - Norwoods were ships captains, surveyors, merchants, etc. eventually migrated to Virginia, South Carolina and New York - or so the story goes. Am looking for all documentation or verification of their lives in the Caribbean.

There are a number of entries for Norwood back in the 1600s - but I'm sure you have them already.

Use this IGI link (Mormons' database)...
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Search/ ... ch_IGI.asp

Type Norwood in the Surname box, select Caribbean Islands as the Region, and click on the Search button.

Here are the results - but on the web pages developed above you can click on links within and "drill down" to lower layers.

Sorry - lost my last message when I went back to check your original reply - I'll learn...I only know about Benjamin Richard and Elizabeth - William etc are unknown to me. Need to do much more research in this area, obviously. Thanks for the heads up - although I am extemely cautious about using their material, I will definitely follow your suggestion and see what I can find on familysearch. Thanks very much for getting back to me - if you find anything else about these Norwoods, please let me know ...

My apologies!! I just went through them carefully - these are all extracted records! Fantastic - thanks very much for steering me to them - now I just have to find out who they are - except for Richard, Benjamin and Elizabeth. Thanks so much!!
