BROWN - Family from Caribbean, possibly Jamaica

Greetings. My name is John Brown and I am attempting to locate my father's family - BROWN, that hail from the west indies. I was told that my grandfather's name was Kelly Columbus Brown, he was a carpenter, and he came to th US by boat, landing in VA. Relatives say he was from Jamaica.

One leg of my family tree has the surname "Brown". They are from Antigua. Cyril Brown married Minnie Brown probably sometime in the 1930s. They had six children - David, Elvin, Fernella, Robert, Lucille, and Laursten
