LYNCH - Trinidad

Postby Chrisser » Sat Sep 13, 2014 2:32 am

I'm researching the Lynch family in Trinidad - Specifically Arlington Lynch whose dates would be roughly - 1880's to 1950's. He migrated to Germany as a teenager and married Karoline Zimmerman and they then migrated to England. These are my maternal grandparents.

Might your Lynch family have originally come to Trinidad from Barbados?

And do you have any earlier first names? I have a family tree in Barbados, but no Arlingtons.

I am missing several branches through the years after 1769, people who were born but then just disappeared from view.

Hi Jim
I don't know. I know that Arlington Lynch was born 11 March 1882 in Port of Spain (my maternal grandfather) His father was also Arlington Lynch. His mother is variously listed as Auguste Fahl and Augusta Ford, I suspect the latter is the correct spelling, but I have no dates for them.
Let me know if you unearth anything!
Thanks
Christine
