I am looking for any information on the family of Haydee Edith KENNEDY who bore a son, Cyril Carl Kernahan, in 1886.

Thanks

I found a Daisy Haydee Kernahan [b. 1884 Port of Spain] who was migrating to Long Island to reside with St. Hilaire family there.
Any connection to your Haydee Edith?
I just found that the name HAYDEE was too much of a coincidence not to be connected.

As the Haydee I am thinking of bore a son in 1886, I wonder if your Daisy was her daughter? My Haydee married a Kernahan so that would work. May I ask if you have further information regarding Daisy?

Daisy Millicent (Haydee) Kernahan is my greatgrandmother. She had a father named George and had 4 siblings Elma, May, George and Violet. I am trying to find her birth or death records. I am also not sure who her mother was. It would be nice to know. Supposedly she is the mother in secret of my Grandfather Jack St. Hilaire who was adopted by the St. Hilaire family in Trinidad. He was born in Christ Church in Barbados. But I need his birth Ceritificate and adopted parents information. Nathaniel and Elizabeth St. Hilaire. I cannot find any information on them.

Here is all that I know so far.......... My Mom's Dad was Cyril Carl Kernahan, born 13 Oct 1886 at No. 40 St.James St, San Fernando, County of Victoria, Trinidad and Tobago. His father was William Acheson Kernahan and his Mother was Haydee Edith Kennedy. Cyril Kernahan went to a lot of places before settling in Canada where he married a woman called Anne (not my grandmother). He met my grandmother in Vancouver in either 1926-7; she then moved to San Francisco USA in 1928-9 and he then went down there where in 1930 they had a daughter - my Mom named Patricia Louise Kennedy.
So I am looking for anything earlier. A friend who's really into genealogy just passed this along to me: www.google.ca/#q=family%20history%20tri ... d%20tobago
and also www.google.ca/#q=list+of+search+engines
Jim, is this allowed? I sure hope so. Its not the total urls so I hope that's ok.

Links are fine, I do not allow email addresses.

I used to post my email address in places, too, doing genealogy just like you... and when the SPAM passed 6,000 a day (and increasing rapidly) I had to change my address. I was actually spending six or more hours a day sorting through all that garbage to find the one or two emails that were for me (and as a qualified programmer I can work very quickly).

So there is good reason for that restriction. There is Private Messaging available on this Index which you can use to pass whatever you want, just no emails in public (in Posts), please.

Bear in mind that my experience is that when you continue a discussion in public - in Posts - the search engines somehow manage to find you more people who are looking for you. So while you have the PM feature you may want to consider doing that in public.

Thank you so much for the copy of the Certificate of Death for Mrs. J. Kernahan. This provided the name of my Mom's half-sister, which we had not known before. Thank you so much!
