MACLACHLAN or MCLACHLAN - St. Kitts

I visited St. Kitts in October 1978 and while there met Donald MacLachlan who lived on the north end of the island, near Dieppe Bay if I recall correctly. He had a brother named Dugald MacLachlan and a daughter who was away at college. I think Donald, or maybe Dugald owned a grocery store.

I would like to locate either Donald or Dugald or a family member as I am trying to connect some dots in my family tree.

Several of my ancestors worked on plantations on St. Kitts in the 1800's. The plantation was Willets, also called White Flag.

Hi,
My Great Grandmother was Olive Grimes Brown (b. 1882 St. Kitts d. 1958 NYC). Her parents were Clementine Taylor Machlachan (b.1860 Scotland d. ? St. Kitts) and Harry Grimes. Clemetine's father was Donald MacLachlan (b. 1835 Scotland d. ? BWI). My Great Grandfather (Olive's husband) was Hezekiah Brown (b. 1883 St. Kitts d. 1962 NYC) and I remember that his family was from Dieppe Bay in St. Kitts. They emigrated to NYC together in 1902. I am not sure what happened to Clementine, who went to NYC with them but later returned to St. Ktts, or to Donald MacLachlan. Have you found any further information in your search? I do have some photos of Clementine MacLachlan and Donald MacLachlan.

Clementine married Harry Grimes ang had daughter Olive who married Hezekial Brown. Can not find a mother for Clementine. Was Donald on a plantation and his "wife" also there?
