My great grandfather was Mathew Yearwood, originally from Barbados but who lived and taught in St. Vincent for most of his life. He was black. One of his daughters was born in 1893. Is this of interest?

Mathew Yearwood was a barbadian teacher trained in Codington, Barbados in the 19th century. He moved to St. Vincent where he married Margaret Williams. They had 8 children who were all born in St. Vincent - one child Louenda was born on January 9,1893. I am searching for his barbadian roots.
