Re: Passenger and immigration lists index

Thank you. I had read about the lists you describe but I am afraid that there is no library near me that I could search. To look at all the volumes would take rather a long time and I don't have anyone to do it for me. I'm not too keen on paying for a 'researcher' that I do not know. I just wondered...

Mid 1600 Passenger lists for wrecked galleons off Florida?

Does any one know how I could find out about a passenger named Dona Isabel Henriques whose Spanish or Portugese galleon was sunk off the Florida coast in the mid 1600s century, please?

JOYLEUX DE VALLEAU, Pierre - Martinique

Does anyone know anything about or know of a Pierre Joyleux de Valleau who was reputed to be a sugar plantation owner in French Martinique at the end of the 1600s, please? He had a daughter, Marguerite who was married in 1701.
