Re: REDDISH - Barbados & Jamaica

Yes, I saw this info. James Benjamin Reddish and Ann Swaby had a child named Lewis Swaby in 1897. (This is already contained in my tree.) Still wondering if there is a connection though. Family research is never easy. Thanks for all your insight so far. :D

Re: REDDISH - Barbados & Jamaica

My great grandfather's name was James Benjamin Reddish and was probably born in the 1880's. I don't know if there is any relation with the Samuel Reddish you are referring to. My great grandfather lived in Manchester, Jamaica. It is rumored that his family came from St. Mary. Where they came from be...

Re: MINGOES - Jamaica, St. Ann (Bamboo, Shelley Road)

Bimjim,

On second thought, Clarendon and St. Ann are not too far from each other on the map. They border each other. It is not entirely possible that the Fultons of Clarendon would bear any relation to the Fultons of St. Ann. You just gave me another possible angle. Gracias! :D

Re: MINGOES - Jamaica, St. Ann (Bamboo, Shelley Road)

Thanks for the help. I am not sure that the John S. Fulton you are referring to is related to Elizabeth Lydia Fulton. He is from the parish of Clarendon and she is from St. Ann. I will look into this further to see if there is a connection. There could be you ever know. Your help is much appreciated...

I am looking for information on my great, great grandfather Emanuel MINGOES . He was also married to Lydian Fulton Mingoes. He had to be born somewhere in the 1850's or 1860's.
