'Senior' family information here seems to offer no common ground with your search. Some indication of the time frames for your forebears' names might help others with your effort, if you have that info (e.g., 1800s or mid-1900s, the more precise the dates the better). I have a Jamaica (?Liberty Hill, St. Ann's Bay?) William Phillpotts (son of John Phillpotts and his wife Ann Catherine who was a Fyffe), William being one of 13 siblings (3 female).

Ernest Campbell Tate Smith m. Rosa Matilda Edwards 30 Aug 1908, 4 children: Roy, Howard, Marjorie & Sydney.

I also have some (Jamaica Edwards / Foster) family info on Smith lineage, starting with "Sir George Hector Smith and Leith".

EDWARDS - Jamaica, Trelawny Parish

Stuart Henry Edwards (1811 - 1874) arrived Good Hope Estates probably mid-1830s. Searching for a document identifying his parents and origin in England / Wales. [Immigration record or death certificate?]. His will not helpful; Tharp Papers (Good Hope Estates) not helpful so far.
