Seacole of Jamaica

Seacole, Mary (Nee Grant) had a younger sister Louise Grant who ran her Lodging House Blundells after Mary went off to Crimea. My great grandmother Jane Victoria Smith is we believe Louise's daughter or niece--her father being Michael Edward Smith of the 64th regiment when stationed in Spanish Town....

Seacole, Mary (Nee Grant) had a younger sister Louise Grant who ran her Lodging House Blundells after Mary went off to Crimea. Louise Grant was Mary Seacole's younger sister and she was gifted Mary's Lodging House Blundells at 7 East Street Kingston around 1850. My great grandmother Jane Victoria Smith is named as owning it from 1893 up to WW1 .We think Jane might be related to Louise(daughter or niece?) as the Jamaica Glea...

His name appear...

Arthur, married to Jane Victoria(Nee Smith) was a customs official in Kingston,Jamaica in 1876 when my grandfather was born there--Ernest George Ffrench. Vital Records Jamaica dont respond to emails. Can anyone help find out more? nancy
