I have no idea! All I know about Edward Stanley Gilkes is that he was a tailor and the family lived in Hindsbury Road. His son lamonte was a French teacher at harrison College and played football for Spartan. He diedin 1945.

Thanks Beth; unfortunately though I have no specific dates. My grandmother was born in 1904 or 5 so I would imagine her parents were born in the 1870s or thereabouts.
