And always someone to talk to at the bar - the atmosphere is "at home" and, like the languages heard, is truly international !!!

Property facilities include licensed beach bar, beach patio with tables and umbrellas, comfortable chairs and beach loungers, and an outdoor fresh-water (convenience) shower for resident guests to wash the salt off (after going in the sea).
- Some snacks are usually available from the Beach Bar during the day. An evening Barbecue is usually available once a week during the Winter Season, and a Sunday Buffet lunch may also be served - call ahead for details of availability.

Other Great Features...
- Salt Ash is also centrally located to many fine restaurants with their widely varied menus in the immediate area of Dover and St. Lawrence.
- For self-caterers, there are two mini-marts (small Groceries) and a well-stocked fruit stand within five minutes walk (well, you can make it ten minutes - or more - if you're really on vacation !!!)
- Taxis are available next to the mini-marts or on call by telephone.
Barbados... like a prized gemstone dangling from the Caribbean's necklace... over three hundred years of uninterrupted British tradition, highlighted with Barbadian flair. Come to an era from days gone by - to the traditional south coast in "Little England".
May we suggest you take advantage of your stay in Barbados to see the other beautiful sights and scenery of the island. Many tours are can be booked from right at the hotel, and most taxis in the island can perform such a service on demand.

We sincerely regret to announce the unfortunate passing of Mrs. Ena Worrell, owner and operator of Salt Ash, on 22 December, 1998. The funeral was on January 2, 1999 in Barbados.
Salt Ash continues to be operated as normal by the remaining family members.
