Does anyone have any records of Ennevers or close variants in Ireland?

I am searching because in the England 1871 census image there is what looks like a Fredk Enervyer (transcribed on ancestry as Merryer) born in Ireland in c1836 visiting at 12 West St, Soho, London.

He is staying as a visitor with David Simes, who is I think a David Noonan Simes, who married an Ellen Slattery, but he’s proving difficult to trace as also is Fredk. Also in the house is Ellen Simes, David's mother. The Simeses have previously been living with other Ennevers.

Any information greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
